Effective Release of Personal Blockages (Psychomancy) 2nd Edition
A practical and experiential course focused on identifying, understanding, and releasing deeply held personal blockages through psychomancy, perception work, and guided inner processes.
September 14–18, 2026 · Vernet-les-Bains, France · Residential course
Course Overview
This one-week intensive course introduces Psychomancy, a new and highly effective coaching method developed by Dr. Ralf Otterpohl, focused on identifying and working with personal blockages, energetic entanglements, and deeply rooted patterns that influence individual development, personal orientation, and everyday life experience.
Psychomancy is based on principles derived from Autonomous Response Testing (ART), originally developed by Dietrich Klinghardt, and integrates perception-based testing with guided inner processes. Within this framework, participants explore a range of phenomena described in the method, including energy drains, inherited burdens, and unresolved influences from past or formative experiences.
A central element of the course is the practical application of mantic-multilateral EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing combined with directional testing). This approach is used to work with active trauma-related patterns in a structured, conscious, and supervised setting, allowing participants to directly experience how such processes are approached within Psychomancy.
The training places strong emphasis on experiential learning. Through live demonstrations, guided exercises, and supervised peer-to-peer practice, participants gain first-hand familiarity with the method and learn how to maintain increased clarity, presence, and personal energy awareness in daily life.
While the primary focus of the course is personal growth and self-understanding — often described within the method as reconnecting with one’s true self — the training may also serve as a foundation for those who wish to continue applying Psychomancy in a coaching context, including further practice with peers after completion.
Course Structure & Learning Format
The course follows a structured yet flexible learning format that combines theoretical context, live demonstrations, and supervised experiential practice. Each training day begins with a short foundational exercise focused on awareness and personal energy alignment, establishing a consistent working framework for the day.
Theoretical input is introduced in concise segments and directly linked to practical application. Concepts are explored through live coaching demonstrations with participants, allowing the structure of the method to become visible and understandable in real time.
A substantial part of the course is dedicated to supervised peer-to-peer practice. Participants work in small groups or pairs, alternating roles, while receiving guidance and feedback to ensure clarity, safety, and methodological coherence.
Throughout the week, different thematic focuses are addressed, including personal trauma patterns, inherited family dynamics, energetic entanglements, and influences from past or formative experiences. Each theme is explored through a combination of explanation, demonstration, and hands-on practice.
The learning process is cumulative. Sessions are designed to build progressively, integrating reflection, questions, and group exchange, so that participants develop both experiential understanding and practical confidence in working with the method.
Faculty
Core Faculty
Dr. Ralf Otterpohl
Developer of Psychomancy and core faculty member of the Science of Consciousness Academy. His work focuses on perception-based methods for identifying and resolving psychological blockages, trauma-related patterns, and energetic entanglements. Drawing on decades of experience in coaching, teaching, and applied perception work, he developed Psychomancy as a structured method grounded in Autonomous Response Testing (ART) and experiential practice.
Guest Faculty
Selected sessions may include contributions from associate faculty members or visiting contributors, offering complementary perspectives aligned with the core training. Guest participation may vary depending on the course focus and availability.
Intended Audience
This course is suitable for individuals with a strong interest in personal development and self-exploration. It supports participants in their own growth process and in gaining deeper awareness of personal patterns and dynamics.
The training may also be of interest to those who wish to begin applying the method in a coaching context. Participants who intend to work with others are encouraged to continue practicing with peers after the course in order to consolidate their experience.
While parts of the work can later be applied in online settings, direct in-person experience during the training is considered essential, particularly for developing practical sensitivity and embodied understanding of the method.
